Now that the site has been in beta for nearly a year(!), I thought it would be constructive to collect some feedback on the work of the moderators.
The moderators are tasked with keeping the site running smoothly (from a content perspective, not things like server maintenance). We're tasked with reviewing and handling anything that gets flagged for any reason, respectfully editing and tagging users' contributions to make them more useful, and guiding users to behave nice and contribute constructively.
- Are the moderators stepping on your toes too often? How?
- Are they paying too much attention, or too little, to some detail?
- Are they over-reacting or perhaps neglecting some particular rule?
- Add your favorite nitpicks...
We strive to be extremely fair and friendly in our actions, but every input is appreciated because a person can be blind to his own faults.
Remember that we're happy to accept feedback anytime, not just this once. If you have any concerns, the best way to address them is to write in the Parenting chat which we check on a regular basis. This meta topic is just one more way to provide feedback, and is also meant to remind you that you can give feedback.
